This SIR short is geared towards medical students who are looking for advice on how they can find an IR research project. Medical students are encouraged to check with their medical school to see if there is an existing IR Interest Group (IRIG) at their institution. If not, IR research mentors are available across the country. Multiple funding opportunities are also available through SIR Foundation and other organizations.
